Blunt-nosed Viper, Macrovipera lebetina

A big viper, up to 150cm long, deadly venomous. It lives in all ecosystems of Cyprus, from the sea level to the high mountains. Feeds on a variety of small vertebrates. It is a relative species to the Viper of the Milos island.
