A temporary exhibition dedicated to the earthquake and volcanic disasters has been developed under “RACCE”, a civil protection project that was implemented by the Museum, offering additionally the necessary information to mitigate their impact on children.
The exhibition is composed of several thematic posters that present knowledge and good practices, as well as interactive displays and models. Visitors can experience a tsunami simulator, can create their own vibrations-earthquakes, can learn about the global earthquakes and volcanic eruptions and observe a seismometer that records in real time global earthquakes and transfer them to international networks of school seismometers.
