Black Redstart, Phoenicurus ochruros

A small-bodied song bird with a distinct black colour and a flicking tail, when standing still. Nesting occurs in semi-mountainous and mountainous regions (up to 2,000m). Eggs (4-6) are hatched (4-6 at a time) in rock cavities. In the winter, it can be spotted in lower altitudes, in gardens and small parks.
