Rocky desert

Rocky deserts host species, which have adapted in different ways from those inhabiting sandy deserts. Here, animals do not dig to find shelter but make use of the shelter provided by the rocks. In this way they are protected from their enemies, the sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations.
